Solutions Consultant – Financial Services

Job Description:

  • Execute a pre-sales framework to engage customers, prospects, and partners; drive the discovery process; and identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer/prospect needs
  • Assist sales in developing account plans in support of Workiva strategies and objectives
  • Conduct process assessments with customers, build Proof of Concepts to validate requirements, and present customer-specific business cases
  • Assist in developing new use-cases or utilize existing templates to provide proof of our solution's value proposition
  • Work with Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success to achieve team and company goals
  • Deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring to peers
  • Demonstrate knowledge across multiple domains, industries, and departments

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience
  • Experience selling to or working in Investments/Asset Management, insurance or Banking industries
  • Prior experience working with Private/Mutual Fund Reporting, Investor Relations, Capital Planning, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, or Insurance Statutory Reporting
  • Experience with financial reporting technology, such as Allvue, SS&C, Yardi, Investran, Oracle, Workday, SAP or the Workiva platform
  • Hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures
  • Ability to gather business needs and present a value-based, compelling software demonstration
  • Experience engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and articulate solutions to business problems with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement.

  • On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: 127,000.00 - 203,000.00 USD Annual
  • Eligible for commission based on sales performance
