The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking an intermediate Data Annotation Specialist with prior experience annotating data for VLA models. The project involves videos used to train humanoid robotics systems, with additional project details shared during the connection process.

Candidates should be able to work at Level B and have previous annotation experience. Experience using Encord is helpful; if you have used another platform, be prepared to state which platform you worked with.

What You'll Do

You will review and annotate video data for AI-training workflows. Depending on the assigned tasks, annotations may involve identifying objects, assigning classes, marking locations, outlining regions, and recording points or key points.

  • Apply bounding boxes to relevant video content
  • Classify identified items or actions
  • Perform segmentation on visual regions
  • Mark points and key points
  • Complete object-detection annotations
  • Follow project-specific annotation instructions

Requirements

This role requires previous experience with data annotation for VLA models and the ability to work at Level B. Experience with Encord is preferred, though experience with another annotation platform may also be relevant.

The work requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week. Candidates should identify the annotation platform or platforms they have used previously.

Compensation and Engagement
