Verizon Wireless Small Business Account Manager

About the position

Your Wireless, a Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer, is seeking a Wireless Small Business Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is responsible for managing Salesforce, prospecting, and engaging with Verizon campaigns daily. Weekly, the role involves leading call blitzes, reviewing performance with leadership, and tracking sales progress. Monthly, the Small Business Account Manager is expected to meet sales targets, lead 1:1 meetings with District Managers, and provide region-wide updates. The position focuses on introducing small and medium business customers to 5G products and services, demonstrating product value, and driving new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals. The role also involves partnering with and mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives, acquiring and retaining small business accounts, utilizing solutions-based selling techniques, conducting outbound sales prospecting and customer visits, servicing existing customers, and using sales enablement systems to manage the pipeline and book of business.

Responsibilities

  • Managing Salesforce, prospecting, and engaging with VZ campaigns daily.
  • Leading call blitzes weekly.
  • Reviewing performance with leadership weekly.
  • Tracking sales progress weekly.
  • Meeting sales targets monthly.
  • Leading 1:1 meetings with District Managers monthly.
  • Providing region-wide updates monthly.
  • Introducing small and medium business customers to the latest high tech 5G products and services that solve their unique business needs.
  • Interacting with small and medium business customers in the retail store, digitally, and through outbound prospecting.
  • Demonstrating the value of products and services by introducing end-to-end technology solutions.
  • Driving small business results through prospecting, networking and working leads and referrals.
  • Driving small business results through the retail channel by partnering with and mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives.
  • Growing customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts in the small business segment.
  • Utilizing solutions-based selling techniques to solve business problems for customers.
  • Outbound sales prospecting and customer visits.
  • Servicing the needs of the existing customer base.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless business where you managed a team of people for performance.
  • 1 year or more of outside sales experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire employees and people around you.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to understand, explain, and breakdown behaviors to drive key performance metrics.
  • Highly proficient with technology including cellular devices, computers, point of sale systems, Microsoft office suite.
  • Proof of achievement in prior sales roles and leadership roles is required.
  • Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology and products, and customer service.
  • Ability to travel to various locations in the assigned district as business needs dictate.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
