About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking dedicated Unit Cleaners to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our ambulance fleet and medical units. As a Unit Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and well-maintained, directly contributing to the safety and wellbeing of both staff and patients. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness are essential to our mission of providing excellent healthcare support services.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitise ambulance units and medical vehicles according to established protocols and health and safety standards

  • Perform deep cleaning of interiors, including floors, walls, seating areas and medical equipment compartments

  • Disinfect and sterilise surfaces and medical equipment following infection control guidelines

  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report when stocks need replenishment

  • Dispose of medical waste and hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements

  • Inspect vehicles for damage or maintenance issues and report findings to supervisors

  • Maintain clean and organised storage areas for cleaning equipment and supplies

  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations whilst performing duties

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and maintain service quality standards


What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in cleaning, sanitation or a related field, preferably in a healthcare or ambulance service environment

  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and medical waste management protocols

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift heavy equipment

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to follow instructions

  • Reliability and punctuality

  • Valid driving licence (preferred but not essential)

  • Willingness to undergo training in health and safety practices specific to medical environments
