Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role The Team Administrator is responsible for providing general administration to help ensure the efficient and smooth running of the Embassy, with a principal focus on property management. The Team Administrator supports the planning and delivery of consular services, projects, events, and visits, and manages a range of key relationships.

Working directly to the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Property and facilities: manage several leased properties, and purchase and maintain assets and facilities.
  • Post administration: you’ll relish the variety of the role.
  • Finance: process Embassy accounts.
  • Health and safety: you’ll keep staff safe by ensuring they are aware of health and safety practices and by maintaining the Embassy’s contingency (crisis response) planning. 
  • Consular assistance to New Zealanders.
  • Building strong working relationships internally and externally.
The appointment range for this role PHP 563,550 to PHP 696,150 – negotiable depending on experience.

We’d like to hear from you if you are an experienced Administrator or Property Manager, with the following skills and experience:

 

  • Two years or more experience in a property management and administration role.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management and finance.
  • Shows strong initiative, risk management and communication skills (in both English and Filipino languages).
  • Ability to anticipate issues and problems, to think beyond an immediate issue to consider longer term implications and to clearly identify what needs to be done.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in following through tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships and working within a team.
  • Values alignment – we value integrity, impact, high-performance, and collegiality.
