Together, we are CAVU About the role: You will be part of the wider CAVU experience team where your support will be needed across our other units both landside and airside that covers lounges, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. • Maintain stock levels. Notify the Chef de Partie/Kitchen Manager when more supplies are required. • Receiving of goods and checking against orders• To undertake all deliveries ensuring they are stored, rotated and labelled as per Company policies• Moving goods around to support the operational needs of the business.• To complete any administration as requested including food temperature and cleaning schedules • To undertake training and comply with all Company policies and procedures• Inform Management of any short falls or delays in deliveries to enable appropriate action to be taken• Carry out any reasonable request or other related duties as required by Management• To assist with stock counts and complete the appropriate documentation• Ensure all temperature checks required are completed and logged inline with policy• Any equipment within the stores areas are regularly checked to ensure they are compliant and any maintenance issues reported to management• Dispose and recording of waste, including recycling, in the appropriate manner and if required to remove it to the designated location. • Assist in one to one training of new staff, including subcontracted supplier staff, in order to uphold the high level of compliance. What will make you successful? • Ensure the uniform dress code is adhered to at all times and maintain high standards of personal presentation.• Self motivated, flexible and pro-active• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers• Know how to handle and store product to maintain quality, in line with food safety legislation• Recognise and understand the legislative responsibilities and the importance of protecting people's health, safety and security.• Numerical and written skills, capable of understanding written operating procedures, maintaining stock levels and undertaking stock checks. • Reliable, honest and trustworthy• Able to work under pressure and take direction from the Management Team• To work flexibly to the rota, typically shifts are confirmed at least one month in advance. Please note flexibility will be required with shifts as early shifts can start as early as 04:00 and late shifts can finish as late as 21:00.
