Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is a technology-driven organisation seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and enhance database environments. You will be responsible for ensuring database performance, security, availability, and integrity while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server database environments.
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Implement and maintain database security and access controls.
  • Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations.
  • Support developers with database design and query optimization.

Job Experience &

Skills Required

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Experience with database security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
