Specialist: Staff Cellular & VB Corporate Onboarding

Role Purpose/Business Unit

  • To perform a hybrid function covering both operational as well as operational support activities.
  • To lead and coordinate Staff Cellular & Onboarding projects, strategic initiatives, governance reporting, and process improvement activities within Customer Operations.

    The function will also provide operational support on staff queries and processing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Staff Cellular and Corporate Onboarding Operational Support Provide specialist support for Staff Cellular and Corporate Onboarding activities, including onboarding, in-life support, offboarding, SIM and device management, complex query resolution, escalations, and benefit administration.

    Monitor service delivery against agreed service standards and escalate risks that may impact stakeholder experience.

  • Project Coordination and Initiative Delivery Coordinate the implementation of projects, products, services, employee benefits and operational initiatives. Maintain project plans, milestones, action trackers, risks and dependencies while ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Reporting, Analytics and Business Insights Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards and management packs. Analyse trends relating to service performance, utilisation, billing, devices, costs and customer experience to provide insights, support decision-making and monitor service level performance.
  • Governance, Compliance and Stakeholder Management Maintain governance standards, operational documentation, audit readiness and compliance requirements.

    Collaborate with key stakeholders across HR, Finance, Technology, Procurement, Customer Operations and Vodacom Business to coordinate activities, communicate progress and support effective service delivery.

  • Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve controls, enhance customer and employee experience, and increase operational efficiency. Support automation initiatives, maintain standard operating procedures, track improvement actions and drive resolution of root causes impacting service performance.
The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
  • Matric
    • related tertiary qualifications in financial management. NQF 6 minimum, Or
  • 3–5 years' experience in Customer Operations, Telecommunications, Reporting, Project Management, or Business Operations.
  • Experience in project coordination and initiative management.
  • Experience developing management reports and dashboards. (advantageous)
  • Experience engaging with cross-functional stakeholders. 3 years + experience in Customer Care and Financial operations or a consumer-related environment
  • Strong display of functioning optimally under pressure and independently under reduced monitoring
