Software Infrastructure Second Level Support Manager
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE - Diploma in relevant field (NQF 5) - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field - 8+ years’ experience in software infrastructure, systems engineering, or integration roles. - Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and vendor partners - Strong experience with middleware (e.g., WebLogic, WebSphere, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus). - Experience with APIs, system integration, and secure data exchange - Hands-on experience with key technologies such as Microsoft Active Directory®, Azure®, IBM WebSphere®, Terraform®, Ansible®, and ServiceNow®, with a solid understanding of API integration and middleware orchestration platforms including Azure Service Bus® and Apache Kafka®. - Strong middleware experience (WebLogic/WebSphere/Kafka/RabbitMQ/Azure Service Bus). - API design and integration experience (REST/SOAP/GraphQL). - Practical, senior-level experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD, including domain design, forest architecture, GPO development, identity federation, and hybrid identity integration. - Experience in DR planning, continuity execution, and DR testing cycles aligned to organisational frameworks. - Relevant certifications such as: - Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate - Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate ADVANTAGEOUS TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect (optional) OTHER REQUIREMENTS - Medical Certificate of Fitness - Computer Literacy - Fluency in both verbal and written English is essential - Code 8 Driver’s license *Internal candidates to complete the internal Job application form with HR as acknowledgement from HOD on application.
