Job Description

Career.florahealthcareltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our innovative remote team. This unique opportunity will have you contributing to critical projects, potentially collaborating on initiatives that enhance user experiences for major consumer brands, such as those inspired by the Starbucks ecosystem. As a pivotal member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that are scalable, efficient, and robust across various platforms. In this remote-first role, you will be an integral part of an agile team, working on the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and deployment. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality features.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to improve performance and user experience.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, offering insights on technical feasibility and optimal approaches.
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and stability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, C#).
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and data structures.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
