Shop Assistant - BMW The Sewell Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Shop Assistant to join our service team. The Shop Assistant role involves various tasks such as valeting vehicles, accepting tow-ins, maintaining cleanliness in the shop, test driving vehicles, and assisting technicians. This entry-level position is ideal for responsible, reputed company, and energetic candidates looking for a full-time schedule and willing to contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests. Roles and Responsibilities: • Cleans the service and shop bay areas • Helps reputed company trucks and vehicles by recording customer's reputed company, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage • Maintains a clean and reputed company service reputed company and shop area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc. • Drives customers to their homes or places of business or delivers vehicles to guests as needed • Uses good judgment and reputed company driving skills • Operates radio or similar device to communicate with the dealership team • Cleans service waiting area • Empties and cleans reputed company trash receptacles • Moves replaced parts to be recycled or returned to parts department • Cleans shop floors by operating zamboni machine • Maintains equipment by doing required maintenance and reputed company on reputed company systems and large tool systems • Maintains a reputed company discretion • reputed company to work in various weather conditions (indoor and outdoor) • Keeps a friendly attitude while providing reputed company customer service for reputed company guests Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Flexible schedules available and occasional Saturdays.
