Working Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM South African Time (Monday to Friday)

Salary: R30,000 per month (negotiable based on experience) plus performance-based incentives

Position Overview

Smart Workforce Solutions (SWS) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates through to onboarding successful placements.

The successful candidate will have a strong recruitment background, excellent interviewing skills, and a proven ability to identify high-quality talent across various industries and roles. The Senior Recruiter will work closely with clients, hiring managers, and the internal recruitment team to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes and a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-calibre candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and onboarding.
  • Create and publish job advertisements across multiple platforms, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct initial telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability.
  • Utilise a variety of recruitment and selection methodologies to identify the best candidates within required timeframes.
  • Evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, technical skills, behavioural competencies, and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
  • Provide clients and hiring managers with recruitment insights, recommendations, and market intelligence.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Facilitate candidate onboarding and placement handover processes.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Meet and exceed recruitment KPIs and placement targets.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or a related field; OR
  • A recognised recruitment qualification coupled with extensive recruitment industry experience.
Essential Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of proven recruitment experience, preferably within an agency or outsourced recruitment environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong experience sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, databases, and networking.
  • Experience recruiting across a variety of industries and role types.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate evaluation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
