What’s the role?

As a Senior Community Relations Officer, you’ll lead on developing strong community and stakeholder relationships, manage consultations and investment programmes, and support the delivery of resident engagement. You’ll also supervise the team in the manager’s absence and represent the service in high-level meetings.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be confident engaging with a wide range of audiences and have experience managing community engagement projects from start to finish. You’ll be organised, proactive, and able to supervise colleagues and support senior leaders. Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusion are essential.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, Lewisham, London, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience required
  • Weekend working is required for this job
  • The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check

Salary

£44,430-£46,437 per annum (P02)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
