Senior Azure Consultant – Home based - £70,000 - £85,000

Our client is an established and growing Managed Service Provider delivering Microsoft cloud solutions to a diverse range of customers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically focused professional services team where you will have the opportunity to work on complex Microsoft Azure projects and play a key role in delivering successful customer outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced Azure Consultant to join the Professional Services team. The successful candidate will take a leading technical role across the design, implementation, migration and testing of Microsoft Azure and also some Microsoft 365 solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical expert across Microsoft Azure and associated technologies.
  • Design and deliver Azure implementation projects.
  • Lead technical design, implementation, migration and testing activities.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, diagrams, Bills of Materials, test plans and Statements of Work.
  • Facilitate technical and design workshops with customers.
  • Translate customer requirements into commercially viable and technically robust solutions.
  • Support pre-sales and solution development activities where required.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and represent the organisation professionally.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience designing and delivering Microsoft Azure solutions, particularly across:
  • Azure IaaS and PaaS
  • Virtual Machines / Virtual Networking
  • Azure Landing Zones / Templates
  • Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
  • M365
  • IaC / Terraform / PowerShell
Microsoft Certifications desirable
  • AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • AZ-500 – Azure Security Technologies
  • AZ-400 – Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
  • AZ-140 – Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
  • AZ-305 – Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
