Sales Manager - End User Description - The Enterprise Sales Manager leads a team of Account Executives (AEs) to achieve revenue and margin goals, develop outcome-based business strategies, build strong client relationships, and guide the team to performance excellence. This role is responsible for driving pan-HP account growth, developing clear strategies for key accounts, and fostering a culture of talent and productivity. The Enterprise Sales Manager acts as a strategic leader, ensuring sales activities align with legal and ethical standards and HP’s values. Key Responsibilities * Team Leadership: Manage a team of 7–10 Account Executives (AEs), providing coaching and guidance throughout the sales process. * Sales Coverage: Develop and execute plans to meet sales and margin targets, allocate resources effectively, and tailor solutions to meet customer needs. * Account Planning: Create and implement best-in-class sales strategies for key accounts, ensuring alignment with company goals. * Solution Selling: Present products and services as solutions to customer challenges, focusing on value and outcomes. * Pipeline & Deal Management: Build and manage sales pipelines to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives. for long-term pipeline development and short-term goal achievement. * Executive Engagement: Develop relationships with senior client executives and, represent HP at industry and customer events. * Compliance: Ensure all sales activities meet legal and ethical standards. * Forecasting & Budgeting: Monitor forecasts and budgets, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, building recovery plans as needed. * People Development: Support the growth and development of team members, encouraging skill-building, and foster a culture of performance excellence. * Coaching & Performance Management: Support the growth and development of team members, encouraging skill-building Education & Experience Recommended: * Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. * Experience: Typically 10+ years of job-related experience or 8–10 years of experience in sales management. * Qualifications: * Proven success in sales management, ideally in enterprise environments. Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams. * Familiarity with sales planning, pipeline management, and CRM systems. Knowledge & Skills * Strategic Sales Planning : Ability to develop targeted sales plans and allocate resources using segmentation tools and market intelligence. * Analytical & problem-solving: Understand industry drivers and customer base to bridge HP solutions with account-relevant problems and opportunities. * Organization & Time Management: Prioritize tasks, set goals, and manage time effectively. * Leadership: Lead effectively in complex and political environments, influence without direct authority, balance competing priorities, and drive team performance. * Problem Solving: Navigate market complexities and develop practical solutions. * Collaboration & Communication: Build lasting executive relationships, interact with key stakeholders, and represent HP at industry events. * Technical Proficiency: Leverage technology and CRM systems to enhance productivity. * New Technology and AI: demonstrated curiosity and confidence in adopting emerging tools and technologies—especially AI—to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and productivity.
