About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and diligent Retail Stock Controller to join their team in Queenstown . This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory levels, minimizing stock discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the store. You will be responsible for conducting regular stocktakes, managing receiving and dispatch processes, and implementing inventory control measures. This position requires a hands-on approach to inventory management within a physical retail environment.
Key Responsibilities Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy. Oversee the receiving and dispatch of goods, verifying quantities and quality. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and investigate causes of loss. Implement and enforce stock control procedures to prevent shrinkage. Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's inventory management system. Requirements Proven experience in inventory management or stock control within a retail setting. Strong understanding of stocktaking procedures and inventory reconciliation. Proficiency with inventory management software and POS systems. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
