Remote Recruitment is hiring an Office Administrator to support a UK-based business remotely. You will keep the day-to-day running smoothly: records in order, suppliers paid, documents filed and the team unblocked. This is a full-time, 100% remote role working 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from anywhere in South Africa.

This suits someone who likes systems and finishes what they start. You will have real ownership of how the back office runs, and the freedom to improve it.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain company records, filing systems and shared drives
  • Process invoices, purchase orders and supplier correspondence
  • Coordinate diaries, meetings and internal communications
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets and documents for the management team
  • Order supplies and liaise with external service providers
  • Improve and document the admin processes you are responsible for

What you will need

  • Experience with office administration or a similar support role
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, especially spreadsheets
  • Clear written and spoken English
  • Strong organisation and the judgement to prioritise without being told
  • A reliable internet connection, a working laptop and a quiet workspace
  • Availability across UK business hours
