About the position

Rooted Talent Solutions is seeking both experienced and entry-level candidates for Medical Billing and Coding opportunities. This is a remote, independent contractor (1099) position with flexible scheduling, offering part-time and full-time opportunities. No prior experience is necessary for motivated individuals looking to enter the healthcare administration field, and experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply. Opportunities may include Medical Billing, Revenue Cycle Management, Insurance Claims Processing, Medical Coding, and Healthcare Administration. Responsibilities

  • Process and submit medical claims accurately and on time
  • Review documentation for coding compliance
  • Follow up on denied or unpaid claims as needed
