We’re working with an expanding international B2B software business looking to appoint a Marketing Executive. This is a newly created position to work closely with the VP of Marketing across content, events, digital and social media, marketing operations, reporting and sales enablement, making this a varied role with plenty of opportunity to develop. We’re looking for someone who is analytical, highly organised, self-motivated and a strong writer. It’s particularly well suited to someone who enjoys combining creative and analytical work and is curious about how technology and innovation are shaping the insurance industry. This may also suit a new Marketing Graduate, who has gained some core experience working in a SaaS / Technology company, perhaps during a placement year.

Responsibilities (Full training provided):

  • Research and contribute to white papers, blogs and long-form articles, taking content from initial research through to publication
  • Create customer case studies, including identifying candidates, interviewing customers, drafting content and managing approvals and testimonials
  • Support social media activity, including coordinating the company's weekly LinkedIn newsletter - sourcing content, copy editing, scheduling, publishing and reporting on performance
  • Draft and submit industry award entries
  • Support the management of sponsored industry events and company-owned hospitality and sales events
  • Manage event logistics from end to end, working with venues, suppliers, agencies and attendees
  • Produce event materials including presentations, signage, invitations and promotional collateral
  • Attend events and act as the on-site marketing contact, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Produce post-event reports and coordinate follow-up communications
  • Help maintain the marketing workspace and ensure brand assets, customer information, product information and sales collateral are accurate and accessible
  • Maintain the marketing plan and budget tracker, monitoring activity and spend and highlighting any variances
  • Maintain and improve the marketing database, including segmentation, lifecycle stages and data cleansing
  • Produce weekly and monthly marketing reports covering social performance, conversion, pipeline contribution and funnel metrics, identifying trends and anomalies
  • Support reporting on SEO and emerging LLM visibility, identifying opportunities for further investigation
  • Maintain keyword and SEO documentation
  • Track competitor activity and produce regular market intelligence using industry sources
  • Manage and refresh sales collateral, ensuring assets are accurate, current and distributed effectively
  • Support RFX responses through content sourcing, formatting and version control

What we're looking for

Essential skills:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing or a related discipline
  • Experience post-degree in Marketing within a B2B SaaS / Tech business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to research and produce engaging long-form content
  • A genuinely analytical mindset, comfortable working with data, building reports and turning numbers into clear insights
  • Experience with tools such as HubSpot and Google Analytics (or similar)
  • A good understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including social media, SEO, email and content marketing
