Operational Coordination & Marketing Execution

  • Implement sales and service campaigns across all segments, ensuring alignment with brand trade marketing strategies.
  • Plan and execute regional marketing activities that drive product sell-through.
  • Manage regional event coordination, sponsorship activations, and mall promotions to enhance brand presence.
  • Oversee the execution of Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing projects, ensuring compliance with brand and regional strategies.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of Point-of-Sale (POS) materials, ensuring proper use within trade channels. Ensure alignment to Merchandising guidelines provided by Channel Marketing.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to facilitate the timely delivery of marketing elements.
  • Ensure seamless communication and implementation of trade marketing action plans across all regions.
  • Provide feedback on regional promotions and incentive programs to drive business improvements.
Trade & Channel Marketing Execution
  • Manage the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) model and relationships at Head Office level.
  • Ensure proper product distribution and trade-level engagement.
  • Implement and monitor MTN and OEM incentive programs within the trade environment.
  • Work closely with the regional sales and marketing teams to identify innovative ways to enhance consumer channel performance.
Relationship Management & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, stores, shopping malls, and community leaders.
  • Maintain relationship and alignment with Brand & Marketing team on proposition, brand and retail positioning / messaging.
  • Act as the primary liaison for regional trade marketing activities, ensuring alignment with BRID (Branded Retail, Indirect & Digital)
strategies.
  • Maintain continuous communication with sales teams to support marketing activations and retail-level execution.
  • Address and resolve trade marketing-related queries in a timely manner.
Budget Management & Cost Optimization
  • Contribute to forecasting and budgeting for the trade marketing function.
  • Optimize trade marketing spend, ensuring all expenditures are within the allocated budget.Identify areas for cost savings and explore opportunities to maximize marketing ROI.
  • Seek opportunities to generate additional revenue through optimized trade marketing strategies.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Generate weekly and monthly performance reports on promotions, incentives, and trade activations.
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness, providing insights to improve execution.
  • Maintain a dashboard of key marketing KPIs, including customer acquisition, brand visibility, and trade marketing impact.
Customer Satisfaction & Service Excellence
  • Ensure service delivery is aligned with local market segment needs.
  • Gather and integrate customer insights to refine trade marketing activations.
  • Develop contingency plans to enhance customer experience and mitigate service issues.
  • Continuously improve trade marketing processes to better meet customer expectations.
Governance, Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure effective implementation of (and compliance towards) all company policies, processes, and procedures. Put effective methods and standards in place in alignment with aforementioned.
  • Manage and provide solutions to escalations that have multiple processes / functions impact on critical path of service delivery
  • Continuously review key risks, issues and dependencies and set mitigation actions. Proactively flag and escalate issues and manage impacts on resources, cost and productivity.

  • Provide technical, procedural and policy guidance to staff, colleagues, partners and vendors
  • Manage own performance and identify training needs.
  • Enable and model healthy employee relations and collaborative teamwork.

Education:

  • Post matric qualification in marketing communications or similar relevant qualification
  • Project planning diploma, or similar qualification or proven experience

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of Industry experience
  • Experience in the execution of marketing and promotions
  • Experience in Project management
