Formal Education

  • BCom honours (CTA) in Accounting and CA(SA) or studyingtowards the CA(SA) qualification.
  • AGA(SA).

Technical/Legal Certification

Knowledge and understanding of:

  • ISSB Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2).
  • European Sustainability Reporting standards (ESRS)
  • Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI),
  • Task Force on Nature Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and
  • Task Force on Climate -Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD))
  • Sustainability Assurance
  • IFRS and IFRS for SMEs standards.
  • Legislation (Companies Act & Regulations).
  • Integrated Reporting framework
  • King IV
  • The International Standards on Auditing (ISA) – Including the new International Standard on Sustainability Assurance (ISSA)

Experience

  • At least (3) years’ experience in a technical environment with sustainability and/or integrated reporting thinking exposure
  • Drafting technical opinions

Knowledge and Skills

  • Financial Knowledge - Knowledge and understanding of financial practices and standards prescribed by regulation authorities
  • Performance management - Understanding performance management policies and procedures
  • HR policy and procedures - Understanding HR policies and procedures.
