About The Role

Join us here at Poundland & Dealz as a Maintenance Helpdesk Agent in our Property Operations support team. Based at our Walsall office, the role offers flexibility to work from home one day per week after the probation period. The team provide support to stores between 7am and 5.30pm and work shifts across these hours. This role will be required to work on bank holidays on a rota basis (not including Christmas Day and Boxing Day). The team currently work on weekends on a rota basis but this requirement will be outsourced later this year. In the role, as the Maintenance Helpdesk Agent, you will be first point of contact for our stores when they have a maintenance request. You'll log and follow up all tasks/estimates with the Contractor Helpdesks, update stores, and ensure an accurate audit trail is maintained on our CAFM system. You will identify and escalate urgent issues.

Additionally, you will log Health & Safety incidents, manage GNFR equipment request, and provide administrative support to new store and development projects.

We are looking for someone with previous Call Centre or Helpdesk experience. You will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Experience in coordinating and tracking tasks.
  • Strong administration and IT skills.
  • Well organised and the ability to prioritise tasks
