About The Role
Our client is looking for a highly organised Logistics & Operations Assistant to support our
growing operations team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics
administration, commercial documentation and international shipping who enjoys working in a
fast-paced environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods by coordinating shipments,
maintaining accurate documentation and supporting internal operational processes.
As a Logistics & Operations Assistant, you will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and
logistics partners to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining
commercial documentation, managing product classification data and ensuring information
within our internal systems is accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and maintain commercial shipping documentation.
● Classify products using the correct HS (Harmonized System) Codes.
● Update and maintain data across internal ERP and operational systems.
● Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
● Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues.
● Support customs documentation and ensure compliance with import/export requirements.
● Liaise with suppliers, warehouses and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
● Maintain accurate inventory, shipping and operational records.
● Assist with process improvements and operational reporting.
● Provide general administrative support to the operations and logistics teams.

Requirements (Essential)
  • Previous experience in a Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain support role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial shipping documentation.
  • Experience assigning or working with HS Codes.
  • Experience using ERP, logistics or internal business management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.

  • Requirements (Desirable)
  • Experience with international freight and customs procedures.
  • Knowledge of import/export compliance.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Experience within manufacturing, distribution or e-commerce environments.
