About the Role

Our client is seeking a dependable Local Delivery Driver to join their team in Randburg . This position is essential for ensuring prompt and secure delivery of goods to customers within the local area. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the Randburg road network, a commitment to punctuality, and a customer-centric approach. You will be responsible for handling deliveries with care, maintaining the delivery vehicle, and representing our client in a professional manner. Key Responsibilities Perform daily deliveries and collections of goods within the Randburg area. Ensure safe and efficient handling of all packages and materials during transit. Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary proof of delivery from recipients. Conduct daily pre-drive checks on the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and safety. Follow planned routes and schedules while adapting to potential traffic changes. Provide friendly and professional service to all customers encountered. Requirements Valid Code 10 or C1 Driver's License with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Good geographical knowledge of Randburg and surrounding suburbs. Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights. Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
