Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, and licensing arrangements.
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management for corporate clients.
  • Assist senior partners in structuring and executing mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing transactions.
  • Conduct legal research on South African statutes, case law, and regulatory updates to inform client strategies.
  • Support dispute resolution efforts, including drafting pleadings, coordinating with external counsel, and preparing case summaries.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive communication and timely delivery of legal solutions.
