Develop and implement strategic test plans and procedures for automotive hardware and software components. Oversee the execution of various testing types, including functional, performance, durability, and regression testing. Design and build test fixtures, automation scripts, and testing frameworks. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues. Ensure that all testing activities comply with relevant automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262). Manage testing resources, including equipment and personnel, to meet project timelines and budgets. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Prepare detailed test reports and present findings to management and project teams. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in automotive testing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive testing and validation. Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a test engineering team. In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, vehicle dynamics, and electronic control units (ECUs). Proficiency with automotive testing tools and equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, data loggers, CAN tools). Experience in test automation and scripting (e.g., Python, CAPL). Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
