About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Office Administrator to join our growing team in Phalaborwa. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the office and assist various departments with administrative and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and document management.
  • Maintain accurate office records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and general office enquiries professionally.
  • Schedule meetings and assist with preparing meeting documentation.
  • Capture and update data accurately on company systems and spreadsheets.
  • Prepare administrative reports and maintain documentation.
  • Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment when required.
  • Support onboarding and general administration for new employees.
  • Liaise with internal departments to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, bookings, and logistics coordination when needed.
  • Welcome and assist visitors and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
  • Qualification in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Previous administrative experience will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional attitude with a strong customer-service orientation.
