Junior Industrial Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Junior Industrial Engineer to drive continuous improvement within a warehouse and operational environment. The main purpose of the role is to analyse and continuously improve existing systems, processes and procedures in order to increase productivity, efficiency, accuracy and cost-effectiveness. An important focus will also be on practically integrating AI, data and new technology into the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
  • BEng in Industrial Engineering or a relevant related qualification
  • Junior or recently qualified candidates are welcome
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good Excel and general computer skills
  • Strong interest in technology, data, AI and continuous improvement
  • Practical mindset and the ability to work well with people
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, Lean/Six Sigma, ERP/WMS or AI tools will be advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement improved systems, procedures and working methods
  • Identify bottlenecks, waste and inefficiencies
  • Use data and KPIs to measure performance and drive improvements
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digitalisation
  • Investigate and implement practical AI solutions for data analysis, reporting, administration and decision-making
  • Work closely with operational staff to implement improvements on the warehouse floor
  • Measure the impact and results of improvement projects
