Company Description

Our client is seeking for an enthusiastic leader to head its Data & Technology function, providing strategic and operational leadership across the organisation’s technology and data capabilities. The role will ensure secure, reliable systems, governed and accessible data, and actionable analytics that underpin business operations and growth. A key focus will be stabilising delivery in the short term while building scalable foundations for the future. Working closely with the Analytics & Economics team, the Head of Data & Technology will also guide the design and automation of reports, drive continuous improvements, and support sophisticated, intellectually stimulating analysis that delivers real impact in the healthcare sector.  

Job Description

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:

  • Define and execute the Data & Technology strategy in line with business goals.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the Data, Analytics, Development, and Business Analysis teams.
  • Establish and enforce data governance, coding, and delivery standards.
  • Chair the steering committee to prioritise initiatives and allocate resources
  • Oversee system stability, ensuring zero extended outages and effective incident management.
  • Manage technology budgets, cloud costs, and vendor relationships.
  • Drive adoption of agile delivery methods and standardised processes across all teams.
  • Act as an escalation point for data, analytics, and system delivery issues.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for the CEO/Head of Strategy and executive leadership.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA, M.Sc.) desirable.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in data and technology leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling technology teams and systems.
  • Experience in cloud, data governance, analytics, and agile delivery.
  • Healthcare sector or regulated industry exposure is advantageous.
