Minimum 5 years' experience managing and leading sales staff, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and talent development. Travel will be required Job Description We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head: Alternative Distribution Broker Sales to lead and execute the broker distribution strategy across alternative sales channels. This role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening broker partnerships, identifying new distribution opportunities, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and delivering innovative broker sales strategies that enhance market presence, increase revenue, and support the organization's broader growth ambitions. Travel will be required Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the Alternative Distribution Broker Sales strategy aligned to business objectives. Build, manage, and grow strategic relationships with key broker partners and intermediaries. Identify and develop new distribution opportunities to expand market reach and increase sales performance. Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets. Drive sustainable premium and revenue growth across alternative distribution channels. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional broker and customer experiences. Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, governance, and risk requirements. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field. Relevant insurance industry qualifications will be advantageous. FAIS regulatory requirements met, where applicable. Minimum 8-10 years' experience in sales, broker distribution, or relationship management within the Financial Services or Insurance industry. Minimum 5 years' leadership experience managing high-performing sales teams. Proven track record of achieving sales growth and managing strategic broker relationships.
