This position is located in Celebration, FL Job Description This position leads a Group System Administration team and is accountable for overall effectiveness, governance, and continuous improvement of business systems supporting the Gatherings organization (i.e., Aulani Groups, Sports Groups, Catering, ticket stores, group dining, gifts/amenities, hotel services, entertainment inventory, warehouse & logistics). The role oversees team performance, hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development while ensuring high-quality support for system inquiries, enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations. Working closely with business leaders, Digital/Tech partners, and operational teams, this leader translates business needs into scalable system and process solutions. The role establishes standards for intake, requirements management, prioritization, governance, testing, operational readiness, and post-launch support. As a people leader reporting to the Group Business Integration Director, this position balances team leadership, business systems strategy, and day to day systems execution. Success will be measured through operational effectiveness, system adoption, governance maturity, Cast development, and the organization's ability to achieve strategic goals and performance KPIs supporting Gatherings. Technical Skills Expertise in business systems administration, configuration concepts, and SaaS platforms Ability to evaluate system capabilities, dependencies, integrations, and business impacts Strong knowledge of implementation planning, UAT, operational readiness, and change management Demonstrated experience using project planning and work management tools including JIRA, Smartsheet, and SharePoint Ability to use reporting and data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities Understanding of system roadmaps, enhancement planning, and platform sustainment activities Business Acumen Strong understanding of Gatherings operations, sales/services processes, and commercial impact Ability to connect technology investments to business outcomes Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Experience establishing governance, prioritization, and decision-making processes Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across technical and non-technical teams Ability to balance operational needs, project priorities, and long-term business strategies Responsibilities Lead, coach, develop, and manage a small team of system administrators Establish performance expectations, and develop project plans Ensure effective support for business systems, user inquiries, and operational issues Lead business systems intake, requirements definition, prioritization, and governance processes Translate business needs into practical, scalable, and sustainable system solutions Manage system enhancements, upgrades, implementations, UAT, and post-launch stabilization efforts Drive project execution, including scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications Support negotiating price adjustments/cancellations, yield management, product modifications, and guest-facing product introductions Maintain visibility into system roadmaps, enhancement requests, and sustainment priorities Partner with Digital/Tech, Sales, Services, Marketing, Operations, and Communications teams to deliver business outcomes Use data, reporting, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for process and system improvements Support organizational readiness for new products, capabilities, and business initiatives Work with GBS leaders to ensure consistent governance, documentation, training, and adoption of business systems Influence and align partners to achieve revenue, guest experience, and operational objective Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client-focused service Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in business systems, system administration, technology operations, project management, or business transformation Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, or similar reporting tools Prior experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives Experience managing business system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and platform changes Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills Ability to translate business requirements into actionable solutions Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience working across technical and business organizations Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and JIRA Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and organizational change Flexibility to support business needs during weekends, evenings, and holidays when required Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the Group travel industry and non-leisure business operations Familiarity with Lightyear, Bolt, Polly, Disney Venue Matrix, and ER2 Advanced experience with JIRA and Agile delivery practices Experience building governance models, intake processes, and operating procedures Track record of improving adoption, reducing manual work, and increasing operational efficiency Required Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience Preferred Education • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology Management, Data Analytics, or related field; or equivalent experience Additional Information: Benefits and Perks: Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life. The hiring range for this position in Orlando, Florida, is $100,100.00 - $134,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
