Google Ads Campaign Manager (Travel Background )

This role requires a data-oriented professional who understands the competitive travel landscape and can drive qualified leads, bookings, and revenue growth through strategic campaign management.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max.
  • Manage campaigns for travel products including flights, hotels, holiday packages, tours, and travel experiences.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, audience segmentation, and destination-based targeting.
  • Develop compelling ad copies and creatives to improve CTR and conversion rates.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign budgets, bidding strategies, CPA, ROAS, and booking targets.
  • Execute A/B testing strategies for ads, landing pages, and audience segments.
  • Analyze traveler behavior, seasonality trends, and market demand to improve campaign performance.

Google Tag Manager & Tracking

  • Implement and manage tags, triggers, variables, and events using Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Set up and troubleshoot Google Ads conversion tracking, GA4 events, remarketing tags, and third-party pixels.
  • Implement enhanced conversions, cross-domain tracking, and audience tracking mechanisms.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve tracking discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with development and analytics teams for data layer implementation and tracking enhancements.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build dashboards and automated reports using Google Ads, GA4, and Looker Studio.
  • Monitor key metrics including Impressions, Clicks, CTR, CPC, Conversions, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Generate actionable insights and present campaign performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Support forecasting, budget planning, and performance projections based on historical data.
  • Ensure attribution models and reporting structures align with business objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Google Ads campaign management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Travel Industry (OTA, Hospitality, Airlines, Tours, Travel Technology, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM), including custom tags and conversion tracking.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Looker Studio.
  • Strong understanding of paid search concepts including Quality Score, bidding strategies, keyword match types, and auction dynamics.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Google Hotel Ads and metasearch platforms such as Trivago, Kayak, or TripAdvisor.
  • Knowledge of travel feeds, dynamic remarketing, and itinerary-based advertising.
  • Experience with Google Ads Editor and automation scripts.
  • Understanding of server-side tagging and GTM Server-Side implementation.
  • Exposure to CRM and booking engine integrations such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Amadeus, or Sabre.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for tracking troubleshooting.
