Description/Synopsis:
Join a leading multinational manufacturing business as Finance Manager – Shared Services, reporting to the Country CFO. The role will lead the shared services finance function, with oversight of multiple operating entities, working closely with regional finance and operational leaders across the Business
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified CA(SA), CIMA will be an advantage
At least 8 years post-articles financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role
Experience in a Group/Shared services environment
Experience in a multinational reporting environment would be advantageous
Strong understanding of IFRS, internal control frameworks and financial best practices
Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Oversee group financial reporting cycles, ensuring timely consolidation and accuracy across all business units
Lead the accounts payable and intercompany processes within the shared services environment
Coordinate group budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning
Ensure compliance with IFRS, governance frameworks and internal financial standards across group companies
Drive improvements in shared services processes, systems and workflow efficiency
Manage group audit preparation and act as the primary contact for external auditors
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations
Lead, manage and mentor a small finance team
Ensure data integrity within ERP systems and support system enhancements units into group reporting structures
Drive continuous improvement and harmonisation of financial processes across the organisation
