About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-oriented Field Operations Supervisor to oversee upstream operations in the George region. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all field activities related to oil and gas exploration and production. You will lead a team of field technicians and operators, manage daily operations, and coordinate with various departments to meet production targets while adhering to stringent safety and environmental protocols. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of field operations in the oil and gas sector .

Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct daily activities of field crews engaged in oil and gas extraction and production. Ensure all operations are conducted in strict accordance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and operational procedures. Monitor equipment performance, implement preventative maintenance schedules, and troubleshoot operational issues. Manage the efficient allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize field performance. Maintain detailed records of operational activities, production volumes, and safety incidents. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement among field personnel. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in field operations within the oil and gas industry , with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of upstream exploration and production processes and equipment. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations relevant to field operations. Proficiency in using field data acquisition and reporting tools.
