The client operates in a technology-rich, fully online environment, so candidates need to be confident working digitally and, importantly, able and willing to learn new technologies and systems quickly.

The client offers a market-related salary, broadly aligned with small to medium-sized private schools. For particularly strong or experienced candidates, there is some flexibility to offer above the standard range.

A few important points about the working environment:

  • Classes are conducted in small groups, allowing teachers to work closely with students.

  • We are open to strong newly qualified graduates, although our preference is generally for educators with approximately six or more years of teaching experience.

  • Online teaching should not be viewed as a reduced-hours teaching role.

  • It is a full-time professional position, and our educators are actively engaged from approximately 07:30 to 16:30 each day.

  • Teachers generally do not have the same evening, weekend, sports, or extracurricular responsibilities associated with many traditional schools. However, as is normal within education, periods of marking, assessment and moderation may occasionally require work beyond standard hours.

  • Our client provides educators with the necessary technology, including a company laptop and digital writing tablet.

Beyond subject knowledge and teaching experience, our client is particularly interested in educators who are adaptable, technologically confident, organised, professionally driven, and enthusiastic about working in a modern online schooling environment.
