Factory Worker
The Factory Worker will maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation by cleaning machinery, disposing, perform in-process quality checks by inspecting products and operate production machinery.

Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operation at all times.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, quality defects, or safety hazards to the shift supervisor immediately to prevent injuries and production delays.
- Perform in-process quality checks by inspecting products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and visual appearance at specified intervals.
- Move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods between workstations and storage areas using trolleys or pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation by cleaning machinery, disposing of waste, and returning tools to storage after each shift.
- Record production data including output quantities, downtime, and quality check results on daily production sheets.
Requirements
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and work in a noisy or temperature-controlled environment.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to standard operating procedures without deviation.
- Basic numeracy and literacy to read work instructions, complete production records, and understand safety signage.
- Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment is advantageous.
- Good attention to detail to identify product defects and quality issues during in-process checks.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety rules and wearing prescribed protective equipment.
