Remuneration: Up to R240,000 per annum (excluding performance-based incentives)

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Delivery Consultant to join our team on an independent contractor basis.

About the Role

This is a delivery-focused consulting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys identifying exceptional talent, building candidate relationships and successfully delivering recruitment assignments.

Working remotely, you will manage assignments from client briefing through to successful placement, ensuring an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates.

This role is suited to professionals who enjoy ownership, accountability and delivering results without the pressure of sales targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment assignments from client briefing through to successful placement.

  • Develop sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, headhunting and advanced search techniques.

  • Identify, engage and interview high-calibre candidates.

  • Conduct structured competency-based interviews and candidate assessments.

  • Prepare professional candidate reports and recommendations.

  • Coordinate interviews, client feedback, offer negotiations and placement administration.

  • Build and maintain strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process.

  • Leverage AI tools to improve sourcing, research, candidate engagement and overall recruitment productivity.

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation.

  • Deliver exceptional levels of service to both clients and candidates.

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' recruitment, talent acquisition or relevant HR experience, including substantial hands-on recruitment delivery experience.

  • A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering recruitment assignments.

  • Experience recruiting professional, technical, specialist or senior management positions will be advantageous.

  • Demonstrable practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT as part of your regular working environment is essential. This is not a role for someone who is new to AI.

  • Strong sourcing, interviewing and candidate assessment skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated, accountable and comfortable working independently.

  • Own reliable laptop, smartphone and stable internet connection.

 

Remuneration

The successful candidate will be engaged as an independent contractor.

  • Initial contractor fee of R15,000 per month during the first three-month evaluation period.

  • Following a successful performance review, the contractor fee will increase to R20,000 per month.

  • In addition, you will participate in ESC's lucrative performance-based incentive programme.

  • Monthly allowance provided for business calls and data.

As this is a fully remote consulting opportunity, success will be measured against clearly defined delivery outcomes, including quality of shortlisted candidates, client satisfaction, placement success, responsiveness, accountability and overall contribution to the business.
