Driver Mate - Dagenham

Location: Dagenham
Pay: £17.00 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 05:45 AM starts

We're recruiting Driver Mates for a leading bedroom furniture supplier based in Dagenham. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity with no weekend work and the chance to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.



The Role

  • Assist the driver with home deliveries of bedroom furniture
  • Carry furniture into the customer's room of choice (heavy lifting involved)
  • Provide excellent customer service on every delivery
  • Assist with furniture assembly/installation once trained
  • Complete delivery paperwork and PDA updates
  • Help keep the vehicle clean, safe and organised


Requirements

  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, professional and reliable
  • DBS check required
