DOCTOR ENGAGEMENT MANAGER (MD)
OB DESCRIPTION The role supports the Medical Director and/or Medical Affairs Head in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the Medical Affairs Department, with a strong focus on physician engagement and clinical governance. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with leadership in reviewing complex or exceptional medical cases and offering evidence-based recommendations. The role will undertake medically related research when required to support policy, clinical standards, or decision-making. This position will provide clear communication, orientation, and guidance to physician partners regarding clinical protocols, professional behavior, and organizational expectations. The role oversees clinic scheduling and coordinates physician partner visits as necessary. It will also lead strategic physician engagement initiatives, including roundtable discussions, focus groups, and retention programs aimed at improving physician experience and fostering long-term partnerships. Additional responsibilities include drafting and disseminating official communication such as memos, advisories, and letters to the medical community across multiple specialty centers. The role will act as a liaison for physician concerns, ensuring resolution in alignment with organizational standards and escalating issues to the Medical Director and/or Medical Affairs Head when appropriate. The position is also responsible for facilitating customer service training for physicians and evaluating physician performance using a defined scorecard. Data-driven performance insights and recommendations must be submitted to Medical Affairs leadership for action planning. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution Must hold a valid Professional License (Passed Board Examination in Medicine) Postgraduate units or a degree in MHA, MBA, or Health/Business Administration is preferred but not required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Medical Management and/or Provider Relations
