Role Summary

Awakn is offering a 2-month paid Data Analysis Internship for motivated individuals based in Leicester who are eager to gain real-world experience in analytics and AI-powered business solutions. This remote internship is perfect for students or recent graduates who want to strengthen their analytical, technical, and research skills while contributing to live data projects under expert mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organise datasets for analysis.
  • Support data exploration using Excel, SQL, and Python.
  • Assist in developing dashboards and visual reports to communicate insights.
  • Conduct research to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Document findings and maintain structured datasets for project tracking.
  • Collaborate with consultants to apply analytics in real-world scenarios.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
  • Proficient in Excel with basic knowledge of SQL or Python.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and curious.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Prior academic, internship, or project experience in data analysis.
