About the role

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier / Motorized Rider to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Palanan, Makati City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that parcels and documents are delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition to our valued customers throughout the Metro Manila area. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for swift and dependable delivery services.

Key responsibilities

  1. Collect and deliver parcels, packages, and documents to customers at specified addresses within assigned routes

  2. Operate your motorized vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies

  3. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any issues encountered

  4. Handle parcels with care to ensure they arrive in pristine condition

  5. Communicate professionally with customers and address any delivery concerns or special requests

  6. Manage your delivery schedule efficiently to meet daily targets and service standards

  7. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly

  8. Sort and organize parcels before each delivery route to optimise efficiency

  9. Provide exceptional customer service and represent ABest Express Inc. positively at all times

What we're looking for

  1. A valid driver's license appropriate for operating a motorized vehicle (motorcycle or similar)

  2. Proven experience as a courier, delivery rider, or similar role in the logistics or delivery sector

  3. Strong knowledge of Metro Manila roads, routes, and traffic patterns

  4. Excellent navigation skills and ability to use GPS and mapping applications

  5. Physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of a full-time delivery role

  6. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines

  7. Outstanding customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanour

  8. Ability to work independently whilst following company guidelines and procedures

  9. A clean driving record and a commitment to safe, responsible vehicle operation

  10. Problem-solving abilities and resilience in managing challenging weather or traffic conditions

  11. Familiarity with delivery management systems or mobile applications is advantageous
