About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Certified Preschool Teacher to join their dynamic team in Cape Town . You will be instrumental in designing and delivering stimulating educational activities that promote holistic child development for children aged 3-5 years. This role involves fostering a love for learning through play-based education, managing a classroom effectively, and building strong relationships with children and their families. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute engaging, play-based learning experiences and curriculum activities. Observe and document each child's developmental progress, identifying areas for support and enrichment. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and classroom activities. Foster positive social-emotional development and classroom management. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational program. Requirements Certified teaching qualification (e.g., Post Graduate Certificate in Education - Foundation Phase). Minimum of 2 years' experience in a preschool or early learning setting. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum framework for ECD. Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
