Call Center Sales Position - BPO

Role Description This Call Center Sales Position is an on-site BPO role based in the Parktown Johannesburg. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls to engage prospective and existing customers Area, presenting product features and benefits, and converting inquiries into sales while meeting or exceeding individual and team targets. Daily responsibilities include explaining glucose monitoring device usage, answering product and pricing questions, addressing customer concerns, and capturing accurate customer information in the contact center systems.
The position also requires following structured call scripts where appropriate, adhering to compliance and data protection standards, and coordinating with supervisors or support teams to resolve complex issues. The role includes working scheduled shifts, participating in ongoing training, and contributing to a positive, performance-driven team environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Support and Customer Service skills, with an ability to handle queries and concerns in a professional, empathetic manner.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and confident telephone presence.
- Candidates should possess Contact Centers experience, with familiarity in call handling procedures, CRM or dialer systems, and adherence to call metrics.
- Candidates should possess solid Computer Literacy, including the ability to navigate multiple systems, update records accurately, and work with basic office software.
- Candidates should ideally have prior sales or telesales experience, especially in healthcare, medical devices, or related products.
- Candidates should demonstrate goal orientation, resilience, and the ability to work in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
- Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales, customer service, or healthcare is an advantage.
- Candidates should be able to work on-site in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area and be flexible with shifts, including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business needs.
