We have an exciting new opportunity available, for a Build/Hardware branch Managers within the Build division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of our Build stores. These positions are available in the Eastern Cape and KZN Regions.

Scope of the job: To Ensure Execution Of Company Procedures, Policies and Company Standards are upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Credit management – daily reports – achieving sales and targets
  • Promotions support & execution
  • Evaluate success of promotions
  • Out of stocks management
  • Correct staff structures and scheduling, maintain structures in line with budget
  • Monitor and manage P&L’s, Finance and Admin controls and checks
  • People management & Recruitment
  • Succession planning for management & key staff
  • Disciplinary & staff mentorship
  • Category management
  • Check implementation and maintenance of planograms and PI labels
  • Maintain F & R implementation
  • Ensure Shrinkage management controls & Shrinkage meetings are in place
  • Weekly shrinkage counts
  • Security checks
  • Store/Merchandise management
  • Replenishment system
  • Check calling cycles – Direct supplier
  • Discontinued /suspended lines
  • Ensure stock holding is in line with company target
  • Address problem suppliers with relevant buyer
Qualifications
  • Grade 12, relevant degree will be advantageous
  • Must have at least 3 years management experience, specifically within the Build/hardware environment
  • Must have IR & HR knowledge and experience
  • Must have hardware product knowledge
Required Skills
  • Excellent communication & Leadership skills
  • Must be Computer literate
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Problem solving ability
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
