Our client, an Electronic company, is currently recruiting a knowledgeable and experienced
Brand Manager
to join their team in the
East Rand (Johannesburg). The successful candidate will oversee a wide array of business functions and processes to ensure the growth of our client’s brand. Duties & Responsibilities
Product and Brand Management: Analysing Brand positioning in the market and setting regular growth strategies Identifying new channels for product distribution and Brand growth Considering and executing product ranging plans for various channels Ensuring product offering and range remain relevant in terms of global trends and consumer expectations Aligning and collaborating with teams to deliver on customer experience objectives Communicating brand personality internally and aligning the company around foundational ideas Perform Product training Retrieving sales data from each sales channel both consistently and in a usable format, transforming this data into the required format and report to global business partner weekly by the reporting deadline Using analysis of sales data to set sales estimates (forecasts), and growth targets and perform achievement analysis against set targets, per product, per channel Managing inventory levels to maintain optimal in-stock capacity levels based on sales and financial goals Ensuring the recovery of marketing funds and other cost centre expenses from global business partners, using statements of accounts and tracking numbers for each claim and following through until pay-out is received Calculating and managing product pricing in order to adhere to cost parameters, whilst ensuring profitability of the Brand and competitiveness of the product pricing against other market offerings in Brand segment Planning, executing and managing promotional pricing for various channels, in a timely manner, and in line with market sales periods and seasonality, to capitalise on growth opportunities Customer and Market Analysis: Carrying out customer identification and segmentation Performing customer and trend research Compiling regular competitor analyses of each product against like-for-like competitor offering Drive customer retention, and switch from competitor brands Mapping the customer journey and identify opportunities to proactively intervene on the client's behalf Developing and implement customer experience strategies Brand Marketing Management: Monitoring social media for consumer trends and competitor offerings Assisting the digital marketing team with relevant and impactful content creation Maintaining corporate websites with the latest Brand offerings and product information Strategizing with global business partners for feature-rich content and high-resolution product images to ensure timeous updating of product range within listed channels and listing of new products ahead of release Leading creative development and motivate target audience Desired Experience & Qualification
Degree in Marketing or Business Management 3+ years of experience in a brand management, marketing, sales, or product management role Advanced MS Excel skills Experience with creating and presenting presentations to EXCO Ability to manipulate data to highlight trends, risks and to draw accurate conclusions from the data Digital and social media marketing insights
