AMCS is part of the Royal Air Force Centre of Aerospace Medicine (RAF CAM), and is an inclusive, dedicated organisation working to provide outstanding care to our entitled personnel.</p><p>AMCS provides an assessment and occupational management service for tri-Service aircrew, which generates a rapid return to fitness for role and flying duties. His service is essential for maintaining operational output in the tri-Service aviation environment.</p><p>Core aspects of the role are to perform, supervise, interpret and report a broad range of cardiac investigations, including: 12 Lead Electrocardiographs (ECG), Exercise Tolerance Testing (ETT), Ambulatory ECG Analysis, Event Recorder Analysis, 24 hour Blood Pressure Monitors (with ECG) and diagnostic Echocardiograms, in accordance with best Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) professional standards.</p><p>Additional aspects of the role include conducting Quality Improvement activities, including healthcare governance, audit, and research, as well as completing additional administrative duties to enable safe, patient focused care.</p><p>If you need to contact Defence Business Services (DBS) regarding this vacancy, please indicate that your vacancy is being handled by Resourcing Team 1.
