About the Role The Associate Sales & Business Development Manager will support the growth of inbound visitation to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort from Indonesia and India by developing trade partnerships, strengthening online and offline distribution channels, and identifying commercially viable opportunities across leisure, family, youth, and MICE travel segments. The role is expected to combine strong market understanding, data-driven channel performance analysis, and hands-on partner management to increase theme park admissions, hotel room nights, package conversions, and market visibility. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded tourism professional who understands how travelers from Indonesia and India research, compare, and book overseas holidays. They should be analytical, partner-focused, digitally aware, and confident in working with online travel agents and traditional travel trade partners to convert market insights into practical sales opportunities for Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Responsibilities: Market development: Support the formulation and execution of sales and distribution strategies for Indonesia and India to drive inbound tourism to Hong Kong and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Channel management: Manage and grow a portfolio of travel trade partners, including online travel agents, wholesalers, retail travel agencies, airline partners, tourism boards, and destination marketing partners. OTA partnership activation: Work closely with online travel agents to improve product visibility, optimize campaign placement, enhance package conversion, and develop tactical promotions for key travel seasons. Business opportunity exploration: Identify new commercial opportunities across emerging cities, traveler segments, digital platforms, and strategic partners in Indonesia and India. Sales conversion: Support partner negotiations and campaign execution to increase admission volume, room night production, package sales, and high-value guest acquisition. Market intelligence: Track outbound travel trends, flight connectivity, consumer sentiment, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, school holiday patterns, and destination preference shifts in both markets. Channel performance analysis: Monitor account productivity, campaign ROI, booking patterns, conversion performance, distribution efficiency, and partner contribution to business targets. Trade marketing: Coordinate co-op marketing, B2B2C promotions, product education, sales toolkits, destination updates, and partner training to strengthen HKDL’s presence in market. Product and itinerary development: Work with partners to secure itinerary inclusion, develop market-relevant packages, and improve product availability across online and offline channels. Internal collaboration: Partner with revenue management, marketing, CPA, hotel & park operations, finance, and legal teams to deliver commercially sound programs. Reporting: Prepare regular updates on market performance, account development, competitor intelligence, sales pipeline, and recommended actions for management review. Requirements: Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in travel trade sales, business development, OTA account management, tourism marketing, hospitality sales, attractions, airlines, or destination promotion. Experience managing Indonesia and/or India source markets is highly preferred. Proven track record in developing partner campaigns, managing account performance, and delivering measurable sales growth. Familiarity with digital travel ecosystems, OTA merchandising, campaign mechanics, affiliate or distribution models, and performance reporting. Ability to travel for partner meetings, trade shows, sales missions, market visits, and business development activities when required. Strong understanding of the tourism, travel trade, hospitality, attractions, or destination marketing industry. Hands-on experience working with online travel agents, travel aggregators, wholesalers, retail agents, or digital travel platforms. Ability to interpret market data, booking trends, channel performance, and campaign results to recommend practical business actions. Good commercial sense with the ability to evaluate partner potential, negotiate promotional support, and prioritize resources based on return. Knowledge of Indonesia and India outbound travel behavior, including family travel, independent travelers, group / MICE travel, price sensitivity, seasonality, visa considerations, and digital booking preferences. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage external partners and internal stakeholders across different cultures and business models. Comfortable handling sales presentations, product training, partner meetings, business reviews, and market updates. Proactive mindset to explore new business leads, test emerging channels, and respond quickly to changing market conditions. Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, or other relevant local languages would be an advantage.
