What You’ll Do
  • Provide legal administration services, including drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Assist top management with legal advice related to legislative drafting and compliance.
  • Oversee the department’s litigation portfolio and manage court processes.
  • Conduct legal research to support case management and resolution.
  • Liaise with external legal practitioners, government officials, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare materials for hearings and compile reports on decisions and recommendations.
  • Supervise and allocate work to staff, ensuring performance management and development.
What You’ll Need
  • A relevant three-year National Diploma or LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a legal environment, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of administrative law, contract law, and the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
  • Ability to interpret statutes, negotiate, and engage with senior stakeholders effectively.
  • A commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
