What You’ll Do
  • Conduct compliance monitoring of systems and processes to assess adherence to information security initiatives.
  • Facilitate training for GPAA and GEPF staff on potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement recommendations from internal and external audits to enhance security measures.
  • Monitor and revise compliance plans to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Investigate security breaches, mitigating risks, and recommending corrective actions to management.
  • Liaise with other business units to address compliance issues and provide management with detailed reports.
  • Stay updated on trends in ICT and Cyber Security to advise on effective security measures.
  • Participate in planning and reporting initiatives within the division, providing regular feedback on operations.
What You’ll Need
  • A relevant three-year National Diploma or Degree in Information Security with 3-5 years of experience in ICT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
  • Familiarity with public finance management and access to information legislation.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication abilities and experience in building professional relationships.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Integrity and a customer-oriented approach.
