Amazon Advertising Lead - FMCG

We’re hiring an experienced Amazon Advertising Lead to take ownership of paid media strategy and execution across Amazon marketplaces in Europe, for a high growth FMCG.

This is a high-visibility role where you’ll work cross-functionally with brand, digital, media, and commercial teams to drive growth through smart, performance-led advertising across Amazon’s ecosystem.

🔑 The Role

As Amazon Advertising Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing lower-funnel strategies across the Amazon Marketing Cloud, Advertising Console, and DSP. You\'ll be hands-on with campaign optimisation, budget ownership, and performance reporting—while working closely with internal stakeholders to align on commercial goals.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Own full-funnel Amazon advertising strategy across key EU markets, with a strong focus on lower-funnel performance.
  • Daily and weekly optimisation of campaigns to maximise ROI and meet performance targets.
  • Manage AMS and DSP campaigns end-to-end, including bid strategy, audience targeting, and creative testing.
  • Monitor KPIs such as ROAS, TACoS, CTR, and CVR, and implement ongoing optimisations.
  • Conduct regular competitor and category analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, media, and brand teams to develop high-impact content for advertising use.
  • Work cross-functionally with commercial and eCommerce stakeholders to ensure campaigns support broader business objectives.
  • Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

🧠 What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience managing Amazon Advertising campaigns (AMS and DSP).
  • Hands-on experience with both Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
  • Strong analytical skills and a performance marketing mindset.
  • Experience using Amazon Advertising Console, Attribution, Brand Analytics, and tools like Helium 10 or Stackline.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and results-driven approach.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional EU language skills are a plus.
